Description
As Systems Architect you will report on cybersecurity, system performance, and audit data. In addition you will coordinate the response of the team to roadblocks involving Linux, Splunk, external support teams, and the hosting platform.

 

Your responsibilities will include the following:

Performing O&M on Linux systems
Guidance on Systems Admin roadblocks
Guidance with Splunk security concerns as well as network security concerns
Automating and/or improving existing systems  based off requirements
Reviewing system capabilities/limitations and develop the following:Design improvements
Create valid requirements
Interfacing with external support teams to ensure smooth operation for an Enterprise Splunk Environment
Design of solutions that are consistent with current policies, standards, and best practices
Providing innovative while communicating with business and technical personnel to deliver a  durable highly scalable architecture to fulfill customer requirements
Required Skills:

Demonstrated experience with Linux Operating Systems
Demonstrated experience with AWS involving the following:EC2
ELB
S3 etc.
Demonstrated experience with Splunk at an Enterprise level
Experience with programming language such as:Python
Java and/or J2EE API’s
Javascript
C/C++
Ability to communicate with bout technical and non technical personnel
Ability to self motivate and grow with technology
Education:

Candidate must have one of the following:

12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
10 Years of job related experience and Associate’s degree
8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate
Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of Splunk Enterprise Security
Working knowledge of Splunk IT Service Intelligence
Working Knowledge of F5 network devices
Understanding of Apache NiFi
Understanding of Jenkins and Ansible
Experience using F5 network devices with AWS ELB’s
Experience automating  task with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell
Experience with using automation in both physical and virtual server architectures
Experience with LDAP and/or PKI
Desired Certs:

Linux+
AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate
Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin
Core hours: 9:00AM – 3:00PM
